Charles Howell III teams up with Gary Gilchrist

Charles Howell III has teamed up with Gary Gilchrist and the GGGA team to oversee the development of his game.
After meeting with Gilchrist a few times toward the end of the 2012 season, Howell recorded with three consecutive top 15 finishes to end the year.
Howell, a 13-year PGA Tour veteran, joins a stellar crop of professionals who have teamed up with Gilchrist and his team including: Yani Tseng (No. 1 in WR), Shanshan Feng (No. 5 in WR), Peter Hanson, Morgan Hoffmann, Vicky Hurst and Karen Stupples among others.
“We are really happy to welcome a player of Charles’ caliber to our team,” said Gilchrist. “We hope to get him going with a plan that will allow him to reach his full potential. I believe his best golf is in front of him. I would love to see him play to that full potential and be a player to reckon with in the majors.”
Howell has two career PGA Tour wins but has gone five years since his last victory at the 2007 Nissan Open. Despite that, his strong finish to the year was enough for the PGA Tour to name Howell a top 100 player to watch going in to the 2013 season as he came in at No. 51.
Howell will also train with GGGA Director of Fitness Jamal Gibson to oversee his fitness regimen.
