Keegan Fennessy, of Minot, Maine, joined the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy coaching staff in 2011.
Fennessy, who started playing at age 3, brings tons of playing experience to GGGA from his years playing junior, amateur and professional golf.
In 2006, Fennessy qualified for the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship and racked up a number of top finishes as an amateur in New England. He then turned professional in 2009 and played the Hooters Professional Golf Tour for three years.
After three years, Fennessy decided his passion was more in teaching the game.
“I found myself looking for a new way to share my talent and passion,” Fennessy said about joining GGGA. “I love teaching kids and heard awesome things about GGGA. I couldn’t have ended up in a better place.”
